Underwood launched her residency with a strong start in early December, gushing after the first show: “It was great! I feel like I blacked out for 90 minutes — what happened? It was good. First one down. Yay!” She also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her residency, including with a stop at the wardrobe department. “There’s something glitzy and glamour-y about women in country music,” Underwood said at the time. “We love our rhinestones, we love our wardrobe changes, we’ve been doing our own version of Vegas in Nashville for generations.”
